Waiting

I've always been fascinated by people when they are waiting. In those unguarded moments between one event and the next, expressions soften, thoughts drift and emotions surface. Most of the people in these photographs are waiting for something unknown to me, yet their body language and faces tell stories of anticipation, hope, boredom, anxiety or quiet reflection. This collection is my attempt to capture those moments when time seems to slow and human emotion becomes visible.
